Police Welfare: Families Of 23 Deceased Officers Receive N46.67m Cheques In Kebbi

The Kebbi State Command of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), said that in the efforts to ensure personnel welfare, the Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Bello M Sani, had on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, presented Group Life Assurance, IGP Family Welfare and Group Personal Accident cheques, amounting to the sum of N46, 672,992. 75k to 23 families of deceased Police Officers, who lost their lives in the active service of their father land.
Nafiu Abubakar, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Kebbi State Command disclosed in a statement on Wednesday.
Abubakar, a Superintendent of Police(SP), disclosed  that while presenting the cheques at the state headquarters, Birnin Kebbi, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, the Deputy Commissioner of Police Administration, DCP Aminu Babale,  advised the beneficiaries not to waste the token, but utilize it optimally for the benefits of the entire family members by doing something substancial in solving their immediate problems and progress of their academic career.
He equally prayed for the gentle souls of the deceased Police Officers to have an eternal rest and give their immediate families and friends the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
 Muhammad Sani, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, praised and appreciated the IGP’s magnanimity towards them.
He  prayed that  Almighty Allah will continue to increase him, his management team and the Commissioner of Police, as well as the  Officers and men of the Kebbi State Police Command, with health, wealth, wisdom and strength to pilot the affairs of the Nigeria Police Force.
