The Delta State Police Command has said that in its continued commitment to enforcing traffic regulations and improving public safety, it has impounded 21 vehicles during an intelligence-led enforcement operation conducted in Abraka and Ozoro. exploited to facilitate criminal activities.

Bright Edafe, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Delta State Command, who disclosed this on Wednesday said the operation was carried out on July 21, 2026, noting that at about 3pm, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Department of Operations, led command operatives on an enforcement patrol targeting traffic violations and other offences.
He said that during the operation, 21 vehicles were impounded for various offences, including non-display of registration number plates, covered number plates, and expired vehicle particulars.
He said that the affected vehicles would be subjected to the appropriate legal and administrative processes.
