In an exclusive interview on X Space organized by “ParallelFacts,” former Anambra State governor and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the last election, Mr Peter Obi, disclosed that he is currently facing threats for turning down lucrative offers.

Obi, who did not disclose the identity of those making the offers, emphasized his unwavering commitment to his principles and stated that the offers presented to him were “mind-blowing.” Despite the ominous threats he is receiving for rejecting these offers, Obi asserted that he is prepared to face any challenge.

During the interview, he addressed concerns about potential danger, expressing his lack of fear for death and emphasizing that he remains resolute in staying on the right path. Obi acknowledged the gravity of the situation, acknowledging that the consequences for refusing the offers are indeed frightening. However, his determination to adhere to his principles remains unshaken.

“I can tell you the offers that I get today are mind-blowing. On the other way round, for refusing the offer, what they want to do to me is also very frightening. But I am ready to go through anything,” Obi affirmed.

He went on to underscore the acceptance of potential risks, stating, “If I go today it’s fair enough; as long as I don’t deviate from these things that I said from the day I decided to get in government. I will always be on the right path.”
