The Tincan Island Port Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) led by Comptroller Frank Okechukwu Onyeka, said it has netted N154.3 billion into the federation account for the Month of October, 2025.

The Command averred that it has continued to witness increased revenue since the introduction of the Unified Customs Management System- the B’Odogwu software platform.

The October 2025 revenue record, which was obtained from the office of the Customs Public Relations Officer of the Command, Oscar Ivara, a Chief Superintendent of Customs (CSC), showed that the collection was the second highest revenue generation of the Command with a total of N154,384,834,050.93

It will be recalled that the Customs Area Controller (CAC), Comptroller Onyeka, had said in August 2025, when the Command recorded its highest revenue generation ever, that the revenue breakthrough was attributable to the successful deployment of the indigenous B’Odogwu trade platform, which he said has “significantly improved trade facilitation and enhanced revenue performance.”

The Command had recorded its highest monthly revenue collection ever in August 2025, raking in N159 billion.

The CAC however commended the commitment of his officers and men as well as stakeholders for contributing to the achievement.

He also commended the Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC), Adewale Adeniyi, for recognising the efforts of the Tincan Island Port Command officers and extending logistics supports in their activities.

The Tincan Island Port Command has fully keyed into the policy of collaboration, consolidation and innovation as espoused by the CGC and this has been a driving force in the activities of the Command this year.
