Security: Operation Kpochapu II to commence in Anambra soon

The Governor of Anambra State Chief Willie Obiano has announced that ‘Operation Kpochapu II’ will soon commence operation in the state.

He made the announcement when he joined the member Representing Orumba North and South Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo and family for a special thanksgiving at Holy Trinity Catholic Church Nanka, Orumba North Council Area.

The mass was officiated by the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Paulinus Ezeokafor, while speaking during the event, the Governor stressed the need for Christians to always cultivate the habit of giving thanks to God for his mercies and blessings.

Governor Obiano called on Ndi Anambra to continue to enjoy the security of life and property provided by his administration.

On his part, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, represented by Professor Julius Ihonvbere, reiterated the commitment of the Ninth National Assembly to making laws that will have direct bearing on the masses.

In a homily, Bishop Ezeokafor who maintained that promotion only comes from God, called on those occupying leadership positions to always lead with the fear of God and commended Chief Ezenwankwo for beginning his legislative assignment with God.

In their separate remarks, the former Deputy Governor of Anambra State Sir. Emeka Sibudu, the traditional ruler of Nanka, Igwe Godwin Ezeilo and his Nteje counterpart, Igwe Rowland Odegbo, as well as the Special Assistant to Governor on Community Liaison, Honourable Ogechukwu Nduche, described Chief Ezenwankwo as a humble, courageous and God fearing Leader who had impacted lives positively.

Responding, Chief Ezenwankwo, thanked God for the victory and the people of his Constituency for voting APGA and for having confidence in him assuring them of quality representation.
