Coronavirus: Chairman Ogbaru, Awogu kicks off sensitization in coronavirus pandemic

The Chairman of Ogbaru local government of Anambra State, Hon. Arinzechukwu Awogu, has kick off sensitization and awareness campaign against the deadly coronavirus which has posed serious threat to human life around the globe.
According to Hon. Awogu, we are taken proactive measure against this coronavirus Pandemic through creating hand washing and sanitizing points because we don’t want the virus to take root within the sixteen Communities in Ogbaru local government and Anambra State at large.
The Council boss also warned the residents of Ogbaru to maintain social distancing, practise respiratory hygiene, washing and sanitizing their hands at least for 14 days from now, then charged the Councilors including other Communities to spread the massenge to their different communities.
In his reaction, the Health Environmental expert, Mr. Celestine Emodi, thank the Council Chairman for creating washing and sanitizing points at the area, but advised the people of Ogbaru not relent in keeping their environment clean.
A Councilor from Atani Community, Hon. Adaeze Chukwuma, in her speech, descrbed the creating the sanitizing points in Ogbaru as a welcome development because it will help to curtail the outbreak.
