Bauchi State Governor Mohammed leads PDP Bayelsa governorship campaigns

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has been appointed Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council for Bayelsa State governorship election scheduled for November 16.
Inaugurating the Council alongside that of Kogi State in Abuja, the PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus said the council was inaugurated to drive the process of campaign and election in Bayelsa and Kogi states.
He appealed to the stakeholders of the party in the two states to support the council for the success and victory of the party’s candidates during the conduct of the election.
The National Chairman who cautioned members of the council not to condole harassment and intimidation in the discharge of their assigned responsibilities, appealed to INEC to ensure the conduct of free and fair election.
Prince Secondus appealed to people of Bayelsa State to consider the achievements recorded by the outgoing Governor Seriake Dickson in the delivery of dividends of democracy in the last eight years of his administration by supporting the party during the election.
In his reaction, Governor Mohammed described Bayelsa State as his second home being the state of his former boss, President Goodluck Jonathan and pledged to work tirelessly for the success of the party.
Governor Mohammed said the council would make excellent planning for the victory of the party and sought for the support of stakeholders in the state for effective discharge of their assigned responsibilities which victory is certain considering the popularity of the party in the state which is second to none.
